Every minute… Every day… Every year… we do what we always do.
Watching movies, Giving a show-off to everyone, trying to make others laugh, studying for tomorrow’s exams / finishing up the project hastily since tmrw’s the deadline, trying to impress the girlfriend, giving a fake smile to higher officials, playing games etc etc. We just go as the life goes on. I am not saying we dont care about the future. Of course everybody cares. We care about tomorrow. We care about how to make money in less period. But what is actually the future we are dreaming of? what is the final destination we are finding in this world? Here is a my brief thinking about it.
Just one day.. Just ONE day, I sat down. Without those buzzing thoughts in my mind. I can say that times like what i had are really rare for everyone. Its not because everyone else is imprisoned in their daily-activities. Its because they dont want their MERE future to get crushed by these thoughts. They want the spree to extend until it hits the lottery.
I started thinking. Not about the future. The Past. Is the path I took is leading to the future i dreamed of? If yes, To achieve this path, have i done any ill deeds to others? I seem to be a lunatic at this point. But read further. you will understand what i am trying to say.
While with Others (friends, colleagues, roommates whatever) Is there a single occasion… Have we ever done what we you actually love? Is there a time we did what we naturally would have done at that occasion? The simple answer is…. YES!! dont fool yourself by thinking that you are doing what you actually love to… You know… I know… Everyone knows that the answer is NO!!!
We spend most of our lives desperately searching for everyones attention. Occasions like Buying a new laptop, Going to some trip, a new cell phone etc etc. Do we actually buy those things just because we love them?? NO!! We love them!! But thats not the only reason. We can live with an old laptop! Old or New cell phone, purpose is the same! We buy them to show the surroundings that you are an important person here. Show-off!!! Otherwise people will forget you!! You wont be important in their lives. This shows our maturity level!! And think laterally, Your friend is having a show-off!! How many times have you felt ‘Ok.. nice… but IDK (I dont Care)’!!
And for getting up in life, how many times we cheated? How many obstacles we crushed? How many lies we said? Innumerable. Countless lies for an opportunity. We tried to stay in Darwin’s code “Survival of the Fittest”. But what we understood in Darwin’s code is very less. It doesnt mean How we overcome the nature. It means how we get accustomed to it. “Stay where you fit the most” this is better than what his actual words are. If you are good at art, become an artist.. if you are good at sending messages to others, become a cinema director.. Finding a position in this world where we fit the most is the ultimate goal of life… But we people take it wrongly…
Over 2 Lakh people are writing Entrance exams for entering Engineering colleges. Are all 2 Lakh students are good at Engineering? NO!!! Because of this competition, many people who can fit perfectly in Engineering Jobs had to choose another path in life.. Choose a path they dont like.. We try to become a wealthy person by becoming an engineer.. So, it implies that we dont want our OWN happiness… Suppose we wanted to become a pilot… But we are now Engineers… WHY?? all because we want others to think that we are Great. We never care about ourselves.
Consider… You attained the position that everyone would respect. If that position is your dream, OK. If Not, you won the competition with the real-dreamers. So, how many other’s dreams you crushed? Can you say Never? Because your circle is larger now… You got accustomed to what others think of you… You try to act like What others think you are. What others must think you are. Thinking deeply, you are not yourself.
Finally,
When we become aged… during our 60’s or 70’s…
You sit down….. You think about your past…
Suddenly a thought comes to your mind…
“did we live our dreams? did we live an honest life? atleast honest to ourselves?”
Dont make your future worry about you….
So, Dont destroy your dreams… Live YOUR Life!!

Today i felt like my body temperature is slightly high. If it was a normal time, i would never goto a Hospital. But This Piggy swine flu is spreading in goddamn speed (atleast the rumours i heard say they are spreading in goddamn speed). I want to mention something here. I never went to hospital for the last 4 years. Ok.. today i HAD to go.
So, i went to a nearby medical shop first. I said i think i have fever (how many I’s!!). But the medical shop owner had some deal with a doctor i guess. He asked me to walk 1 kilometre away to see Dr. M*n*h*r (In india, you cant blame a wealthy person directly, because we must respect a bastard if he is wealthy. Thats the culture here). Why did he mention this particular doctor when there are many doctors in the way? donno.
I went to the location he mentioned. The female Assistant to the doctor was sweeping the area. I tried to walk in. She stopped me and said
She : “nooru roobaa vachirukkiya?”
(i had no clue why she asked this question.)
Me: “I have only 50 rupees.”
She: “you must pay even if he says you have no problem. Is it ok?”
(WHAT??? )
Me: “Why should i pay if i have no problem???”
She: “Then get outta here!!”
Me: “ok… then i have no choice. I will pay.”
(I should have seen whats coming.)
I went in. I told him what my problem is…
Dr.Asshole: “get that thermometer over here” and he said “go and sit somewhere else. customers are coming”.
(Seri seri. periya doctor pola. Customer laam vachirukkaaru.)
(After a minute, he saw the thermometer and said )
Dr.Asshole: “you temperature is normal. No problem at all.”
Me: “Thanks sir. Should i pay any money”
Dr.Asshole: “oru 150 ruuba kuduthuttu po”
Me: “What???”
Dr.Asshole: “veliya kattitu po pa!!”
Me: “You mean One-Five-Zero???”
Dr.Asshole: “Naan enna velaandukitta iruken… kattitu po pa”
Me: “Sir.. I have only Rs.50″
Dr.Asshole: “enna vela paakura”
Me: “college mudichiruken… inimethaan vela”
Dr.Asshole: (in a dissappointed tone)”Seekiram oru velela seru… ippo irukiradha kuduthuttu po”
Me: “……………………” murmering ( “go to hell… son of a bitch!!”)

Why I Hate Linux March 18, 2009
Many people may not agree with what im gonna say about Linux… But Let me tell my point…
OpenSuse :
Many of my friends suggested me that OpenSuse is very user friendly and it has a very good environment for a developer.
I have to do a Glbus Project. Otherwise, i wouldnt even think about Linux. So, I installed it half-heartedly.
Ok…. Now comes the User Account creation screen…
Set Password :
1) I dont want a complex password for my system since im installing it for personal use only. So, I gave the password as “a”…
It replied –> “a cannot be a password”
2) Seri… Since it specifically said “a” cannot be a password… I tried “b”
It replied –> “b cannot be a password”
3) Hmm…. They should have told me that “single char cannot be a password”. Thats ok… I now tried “haha”
It replied –> “password length lessthan 6. Cannot set password”
4) “Come on!! I dont want to play with you.. Shut up!!” I now tried “hahaha”
It replied –> “password too simple”
5) WHAT??? They are searching the dictionary of simple words before setting a password!! Is it really necessary? OpenSuse Dudes… Concentrate your security issues somewhere else… dont irritate poor Windows Users… Then I tried “hahahah”
It replied –> “Password cannot be a Palindrome”
6) “WHAT THE HELL??? Palindrome? Even I dont know its a palindrome… You are analysing the patterns too? What else rules do you have?”
“Just remember one thing…. You are not the only ones who knows coding… Just because you know pattern matching, it doesnt mean that you have to code it unneccessarily. What is the point behind all this nonsense?”
Im sorry guys.. Im totally pissed off!!
Generally, I dont want to waste time. Wasting 10 minutes for just setting password makes me think that OpenSuse will eat my lotta time for many nonsense issues….
Let me live with my good old Vista…. Though it has many bugs to fix… Its WAY better…
And Do you want to know what password opensuse accepted?
